ARA-290, also known as cibinetide, is a synthetic 15–amino-acid peptide derived from the Helix-B surface region of erythropoietin (EPO). Unlike EPO, ARA-290 does not activate the classical EPOR receptor pathway. In controlled laboratory research, it is examined for its selective interaction with the EPOR/CD131 heteromeric complex, also referred to as the innate repair receptor (IRR). Supplied as a lyophilized peptide powder, ARA-290 is intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research where high-purity peptide material is required.
Research Applications: (In-Vitro Use Only)
ARA-290 is studied in controlled laboratory settings for:
- Characterization of EPOR/CD131 (IRR) peptide–receptor interactions
- Analysis of selective signaling pathways related to cytokine modulation
- Investigations of structure–function relationships in EPO-derived peptides
- Binding, stability, and physicochemical profiling in peptide research
- Laboratory assays exploring pathway specificity and receptor selectivity
Storage and Handling:
- Store lyophilized powder at −20 °C
- After reconstitution, maintain at 2–8 °C
- Use promptly after reconstitution
- Handle using standard aseptic laboratory technique
Product Specifications:
- Purity: ≥99% (HPLC Certified)
